Terms of Use

These terms apply to all clients of Roomedial, operated by Ross Weaver, Remedial Therapist, ABN [13 509 715 387], Woolgoolga (Woopi) and Emerald Beach, NSW. By booking an appointment you agree to these terms.
1. Appointments
All appointments are booked through our online booking system (Cliniko) or by direct arrangement with Ross Weaver. Booking an appointment confirms your acceptance of these terms.
New clients are required to complete an intake form before their first appointment. This information is used to provide safe and effective treatment.
2. Cancellations and rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You can manage your appointment online using the link provided in your confirmation email.
Cancellation fees:
First late cancellation (within 24 hours): waived as a courtesy
Subsequent late cancellations: 50% of the session fee applies
No shows: 50% of the session fee applies
Online cancellations are disabled within 24 hours of the appointment. To cancel within this window please contact us directly by phone or email.
3. Payment
Payment is due at the end of each session. We accept card payments via tap and pay through Stripe.
Health fund rebates are available. We are in the process of setting up Tyro Health for on-the-spot claiming. In the meantime we will provide an itemised invoice you can submit directly to your health fund for reimbursement.
4. Informed consent
By attending an appointment at Roomedial you confirm that:
You have disclosed all relevant health information on your intake form and verbally during your consultation
You understand that remedial therapy involves hands-on treatment and active movement
You understand that some discomfort may be experienced during treatment
You have the right to withdraw consent and stop treatment at any time
You will inform your therapist of any changes to your health or medications before each session
5. Scope of practice
Roomedial provides remedial therapy services. Ross Weaver is a qualified Remedial Therapist and member of Massage & Myotherapy Australia. Remedial therapy is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have a serious medical condition please consult your GP or specialist before booking.
Where treatment is outside the scope of remedial therapy, clients will be referred to an appropriate health professional.
6. What to wear
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Shorts are recommended if your issue is in the lower body. Sessions involve movement as well as hands-on treatment.
7. Late arrivals
If you arrive late your session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid impacting other clients. The full session fee applies regardless of arrival time.
8. Client responsibilities
To get the most out of your sessions at Roomedial you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete health information
Complete take-home exercises as discussed during your session
Communicate openly about your comfort, pain levels and response to treatment
Give adequate notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
Treat your therapist and clinic environment with respect

10. Changes to these terms
Roomedial reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on roomedial.com. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
